Pros and Cons Of Buying A Dyson Vacuum Cleaner

When you think of a vacuum cleaner what do you think of? Many, if not all of you, probably said the Dyson vacuum cleaner. Why though? The Dyson vacuums revolutionized the vacuum world by its design using function over form and solving the number one complaint of everyone, that their vacuums lose suction as their bag fills up.

What are some of the benefits of using a Dyson vacuum cleaner?

-The most obvious benefit of the Dyson over all other vacuum cleaners is the amazing suction power that lasts an incredible amount of time.

-The Dyson vacuum is amazing for those with allergies. The reason the Dyson vacuum is good for those with allergies is because the Dyson's HEPA filter sucks up about 99% of the bacteria and mold spores and the vacuum keeps them in.

-The Dyson vacuum has a great range of use. You are able to use the vacuum on almost any form of floors be it rugs, hardwood floors, or carpets.

-You no longer need to deal with vacuum bags. The Dyson vacuum cleaners are all bagless which is not only good for the environment but is also an easy way to get ride of the dust.

-The Dyson vacuum cleaners come with a wide variety of tools and attachments which are perfect for cleaning every inch of your house. Also, the extendable hose helps you to clean your stairs which is hard to do with most vacuum cleaners.

-The Dyson is a very highly rated vacuum by consumers and, like all other vacuums that come very highly rated, it comes with extensive warranties and after sales services.

So there are some of the advantages of the Dyson, but are there any downsides?

-The biggest downside to buying a Dyson is the cost. The price of a Dyson vacuum is much steeper than that of any other vacuum cleaner but you just need to consider that the Dyson will last much longer than its competitors.

-Many do not like the look of the Dyson vacuum because of its slick design. This is a personal issue and not one that can really be a downside to the vacuum cleaner unless you are one of the people who does not like the look.

-Emptying the dust bin seems to be a problem with many people. To empty the dust bin you remove it from the vacuum, as easy as pushing a button, and push another button to have the bottom of the dust bin drop releasing all of the dust.

These are the benefits and the downsides to owning a Dyson vacuum cleaner, are you going to buy one?

Dyson D15

Unlike the use of wheels that most vacuums have, the
Dyson DC15 upright vacuum has a large yellow ball
that will allow the vacuum to pivot and roll with
the greatest of ease. With the DC15, you simply
turn your wrist and the entire vacuum cleaner will
change direction. The ability to maneuver this
easily is something that is commonly associated with
canister style vacuum cleaners.

In addition to the unique yet innovative ball design,
the Dyson DC15 also offers quite an interesting
filtration system. No matter what you may think
or hear, Dyson vacuums don't use filters in the
way that most vacuum cleaners do.

With the Dyson DC15, the air and dirt are sucked
into the container where the outer cyclone removes
large particles such as food, hair, and even
fibers. The air will then move into the shroud
and inner cyclone where it is rotated with a higher
velocity to drop fine particles of dust out of
the air.

From the inner cyclone, the air will move about
through a washable inner foam pre filter where
a majority of the particles will remain trapped.
This feature helps the DC15 to keep dirt and debris
trapped inside and out of the motor.

The last step in the system after moving through
the motor is the trip through the final HEPA
filter. The DC15 has a very strict filter system,
which will prevent 99.9% of bacteria and mold
from getting to your home. The vacuum will suck
it up and keep it inside of the vacuum where it
belongs.

Even though they aren't very well known, Dyson
has been around for many years. They aren't as
popular or as well known as the bigger companies
such as Hoover, although they offer you great
quality and performance with their vacuum
cleaners. Unlike Hoover, Dyson works to improve
on their own products as well as the competition
with each product they release.

The Dyson DC15 is truly a great vacuum to hit
the market, as it is the first and only vacuum
cleaner to feature the very unique ball. Even
though robotic vacuum cleaners are becoming the
most popular types of vacuum cleaners, the DC15
is ideal for housewives who want a traditional
vacuum cleaner with a twist.

The Dyson DC15 is also known for its suction
power and attachments as well. With the ball
assembly, using attachments are a breeze. The
only problem you may have, is getting the hang
of things.

The attachment wand is stored inside of the
handle of the vacuum and is always attached.
To use it, you lock the handle in the upright
position then push a button on the front of
the handle that will allow you to telescope
the wand for use.

Dyson DC16 Root 6: The First Handheld Vacuum That Does Not Lose Suction

Leave it to James Dyson to come up with a revolutionary new handheld vacuum. My guess is they are releasing the DC16 Root 6 just in time for the holiday season, when husbands get their wives exactly what they want for XMAS…

root6.jpg

The Dyson Root 6 takes much of the technology found in their full size upright vacuums and shrinks it down to a weird looking handheld that will cost 3-5 times the price of your standard dustbuster.

Lets explore the features:

  • Cool Looks? – The Dyson Root 6 resembles more of a steam cleaner or painting tool than a vacuum.
  • Root Cyclone Technology - The Root 6 uses the same cyclonic action as the full size vacuums to be powerful and not lose suction when the canister starts to fill.
  • Quick Recharging – The Root 6 uses lithium ion batteries which can recharge up to 3 times faster than the NiCad batteries of their competitors. Lithium ion batteries are used in newer electronic devices including cell phones, laptops, and iPods.
  • Hygienic and Quick To Empty – Like the uprights the new handheld uses bag less one touch bin emptying.
  • Attachments - It looks like it has a nice dusting brush. Also has a crevice tool
  • No Extra Costs - No filters to replace… I think my dustbuster of years back only needed the filter replaced once…it would get pretty nasty though. Still you should not have extra costs when you drop $150 on a dustbuster.

I am interested in getting my hands on this and getting a full review. For the price point it seems ridiculous, but the premium price point did not stop thousands (millions?) of jokers to pick up their $500+ DC07 and DC14 units. I have been extremely happy with the performance of my DC14 and I am thinking the DC16 will not dissappoint those who can afford it.

What are your thoughts on this? Does it look cool. Is it worth the price? Are you asking for one for Xmas?

The All Popular Dyson Vacuum Cleaners

The Dyson vacuum cleaners are the most popular and common brand of bagless vacuums found on the market today. The benefit of bagless vacuums is that they do not utilize the traditional vacuum bags, so there is no need to buy any. Instead, the dirt is collected in a dustbin which can simply be removed, dumped out and replaced quickly and easily.

The Dyson brand of vacuum cleaners are the biggest sellers among bagless models. Because of their popularity, more and more often their design is being used as a model that other manufacturers are copying. This means that there are now a number of choices on the market, if you are interested in getting a bagless vacuum.

This is good news because the Dyson vacuum cleaners are rather expensive, as compared to the other copy-cat models. However, this machine regularly receives very high ratings from owners and also receives very favorable reviews as well. Some people question if the Dyson vacuums are worth the higher price, but most who own the units respond with a resounding "Yes!"

The most recent Dyson model to be introduced to the market is the Dyson DC17 Animal. This model retails at around $550 and has already gotten many positive reviews from those who have had a chance to test it. Virtually all of the reviewers claim that this new model is more powerful and is better designed than it's predecessor, the Dyson model DC14, which retails at about the same price.

One of the nice extras on this newest model is that is comes with a handheld accessory that has a revolving brush built in. This tool is designed to quickly and easily remove pet hair from any upholstery. Owners are reporting that this new tool is a great timesaver. Another of the new features on the DC17, is an automatic function that adjusts for the pile-height of the carpet being cleaned.

There are some reviewers of this new model who say that while the machine is very good overall, it is not particularly any better or worse than previous models. This is not necessarily any kind of negative comment because the Dyson vacuums have a long history of receiving very high marks.

This simply means that the new model meets the previous high standards for the Dyson brand. One drawback for some is that this new model, like the other Dyson upright vacuums, weighs in at 21 pounds, which some owners feel is just too heavy.

The Dyson model DC17 is not actually a self-propelled model. However, a number of the reviewers made comments about how the very powerful brush-roller effectively pulls the unit across the floor, and the only thing the operator needed to do was to steer it. In testing against the Hoover Wind Tunnel and the Shark Infinity vacuums, the Dyson DC17 was reported to be much easier than the Shark or the Hoover vacuum to push and to maneuver around the room.

As with any vacuum, bagless or not, the dustbin must be cleaned out regularly. The Dyson models make it simple to know when it is time to clean the collection dustbin because they are clear, so the operator can see exactly when it is full. Many owners of Dyson vacuum cleaners say that it is the best vacuum cleaner that can be found on the market.

Dyson Vacuum Cleaner

It sometimes takes hours to clean the house. The most important thing to do will be to get rid of the dust particles underneath the couch and on the carpet because people can get sick.

Installing air filters can catch those that are floating but those on the ground need something better than a broom and dustpan, which is a vacuum cleaner. One of the most trusted names in the Market is Dyson.

Dyson unlike other companies is considered to be a new player in the market. This is because many appliance firms have been operating for more than 50 years while this one only introduced a vacuum cleaner in 1983.

People will notice that vacuum cleaners regardless of size have a filter bag in the unit that has to be replaced when it is full.

James Dyson invented a model that did not need this, which manufacturers in Europe were not in favor of so this person promoted it elsewhere until a Japanese firm liked the idea and the company took off.

Most vacuum cleaners clog after catching a lot of dust. Dyson doesn’t because the roller inside the machine converts it into clean air. Thus, eliminating the need for filter bags used by many conventional companies.

Though Dyson doesn’t have a huge product line to choose from, the makers guarantee that it can clean any surface regardless if this is vinyl, wood or carpet. These can be used to clean the house, the office and the car. This allows it to clean the surface without causing any damage.

The price range of the vacuum cleaner is from $399 to $599. These are easy to easy to move around because of the wheels underneath allowing the person to move freely and store it after it is used. All of these come with a 5-year warranty so the parts can be replaced free of charge.

The nice thing about Dyson is that the vacuum cleaners can be purchased in authorized dealers such as appliance stores that could be near where the customer lives. If there are none, there are also online retailers who can process the order and have it delivered to the home.

If people want an appliance that does the job without spending too much on filter bags and maintenance, then individual should not look any further. Dyson vacuum cleaners can be used to clean the home with less effort and the user will be able to enjoy the fresh air that comes out of the filter.
